Dispatch Assistant – Full Time

IHL is a growing intermodal carrier looking for an organized, reliable Dispatch Assistant to support our dispatch team. No dispatch experience is required. We'll train the right person. What we need is someone with solid office experience who can stay on top of details in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Provide administrative support to the dispatch team Communicate with drivers throughout the day by phone and electronic messaging Book and adjust reservation times at CN and CPKC rail yards in the GTA Monitor driver Hours of Service and flag potential issues to dispatch Complete rail billing for loads Other duties as required What We're Looking For Previous office or administrative experience (required) Strong communication skills, comfortable dealing with drivers and rail yard staff Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities Comfortable with computers, email, and online booking systems Trucking or logistics experience is an asset but not required What We Offer Starting wage of $24.00/hr Full-time, permanent position Full benefit package after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period Hands-on training in dispatch and intermodal operations How to Apply Send your resume to Cameron at evcrosafety@gmail.com or apply directly through this posting.
