Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dispatch Administrator and become the vital link that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly! In this energetic role, you will coordinate freight movements, manage shipping and receiving operations, and ensure seamless communication across multiple platforms. Your expertise in transportation management systems and supply chain processes will drive efficiency and accuracy, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Utilize transportation management systems and SyteLine to schedule, track, and optimize freight shipments. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Enter data accurately into AS400, shipping & receiving logs, and other relevant systems to maintain up-to-date records. Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Monitor freight status, troubleshoot issues, and provide analysis to improve shipping efficiency. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintain high standards of communication skills to relay information clearly and professionally across departments. Experience Proven experience working with transportation management systems or logistics software such as SyteLine or AS400. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record keeping. Demonstrated analysis skills to interpret shipping data and identify opportunities for process improvements. Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette in handling multi-line phone systems. Familiarity with 3PL operations, freight regulations, and shipping documentation is preferred. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
