Job Summary The Director of the Vendor Management Office manages key IT vendor relationships for Baylor Scott & White Health, including managed services partners. This role owns vendor performance, contract follow-through, service delivery, issue escalation, and financial oversight for approximately $100M in annual vendor spend.
The person in this role works with IT leaders, clinical and operational teams, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and vendor account teams to keep vendor work on track, resolve service issues, manage cost and scope changes, and make sure vendor commitments are met.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Lead the Vendor Management Office, including team priorities, operating routines, vendor governance, and support for IT vendor issues that need VMO involvement.
• Set and maintain the standard process for bringing vendors in, tracking performance,
