Director, Transportation Safety

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Transportation Safety to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will shape commercial strategy for transportation safety solutions, with a focus on revenue growth, pricing discipline, and demand planning. The role partners closely with Government Affairs, Product Management, and R&D to align offerings with regulatory changes and market needs. It also involves building executive relationships with transportation agencies and guiding international standardization efforts. Location: Livonia, MI - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $250,253 – $305,864 annually Responsibilities Set and achieve revenue targets for safety products Cultivate executive-level partnerships with transportation agencies Develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies Drive profitable growth through pricing and demand forecasting Collaborate with Government Affairs on transportation legislation Serve on international committees for standardization Align product roadmaps with emerging regulatory shifts Promote high-performance traffic solutions for both human and autonomous vehicles Expand global footprint of secure vehicle registration solutions Prioritize investment across product portfolios with R&D and Product Management Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher required 12+ years of leadership experience in B2B and B2G sales Experience in transportation safety or infrastructure policy Master's degree in Business Administration preferred Proven track record in managing cross-border sales teams Familiarity with global traffic device standards Experience with government procurement and B2G contracting Benefits Programs to support physical and financial well-being Competitive pay and benefits benchmarked against industry standards Potential for relocation assistance On-site working model with flexibility for travel Opportunity for career transition from various sectors Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
