Director, Supply Chain

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Supply Chain to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This leadership role will oversee supply chain strategy and execution across sourcing, commodity management, logistics, and plant support functions. The position will partner closely with senior operations leaders to align demand, capacity, and execution plans that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep multi-site supply chain experience and the ability to drive cost, performance, and service outcomes across cross-functional teams. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives Partner with senior supply chain leadership to define actionable execution plans Lead commodity management with a focus on cost and performance accountability Align sourcing strategies with plant execution requirements through collaboration Participate in the SIOP process for demand and capacity alignment Own logistics strategy to ensure efficient material flow Manage supplier relationships and negotiations to ensure competitiveness Qualifications BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field required 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, or plant operations Proven experience leading commodity management or supply chain organizations across multiple locations Strong background in supplier negotiations, cost management, planning, and logistics operations Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive business results Experience with AI tools for productivity and cost management Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Benefits Competitive benefits package Opportunities for national and international travel Professional development and capability-building programs Team leadership and performance management opportunities Access to advanced AI tools for operational improvements Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
