Director of Transportation
HOME OIL COMPANYTW Enterprises is seeking an experienced Director of Transportation to lead our petroleum transportation operations. This hands-on position oversees drivers, dispatch, scheduling, safety, compliance, and fleet operations to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. What You’ll Do Lead daily transportation operations, including drivers, dispatch, scheduling, and deliveries. Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, Hours of Service, CDL, Hazmat, and drug and alcohol testing requirements. Promote a strong safety culture and address driver performance and operational concerns. Monitor routes, staffing, driver hours, equipment utilization, and costs. Coordinate fleet maintenance and resolve day-to-day operational challenges. Recruit, train, develop, and retain a dependable transportation team. Partner with Home Oil operations and senior leadership to support business needs. What We’re Looking For Transportation, trucking, fuel distribution, or related operations experience. Previous leadership or management experience. Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Petroleum, tanker, bobtail, or Hazmat experience strongly preferred. Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
