One Frozen, LLCThis position is based in Rochester, NY Position Summary The Director of Supply Chain & Logistics is responsible for leading the day-to-day and strategic supply chain operations of One Frozen, including international logistics, inventory planning, supplier performance, customer fulfillment, and multi-site supply chain coordination. This position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Quality Assurance, suppliers, logistics partners, and Leadership to ensure product availability, OTIF fulfillment, efficient inventory management, and cost-effective logistics operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on and collaborative leader with strong international logistics and supply chain experience within the food or frozen food industry. This individual should have the ability to balance operational priorities with inventory levels, customer requirements, supplier lead times, and financial considerations while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Operations, Supply Chain & Logistics Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Supply Chain and Logistics function, both domestic and international. Own the logistics functions, including ocean freight, container shipments, port operations, customs clearance, and inbound transportation. Coordinate supply chain activities across multiple manufacturing sites, warehouses, customers, and logistics partners for the Retail, Industrial and Foodservice channels. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and other third-party logistics providers. Monitor freight costs, transit times, container utilization, service levels, and overall logistics performance while Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen service levels. Proactively evaluate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions. Inventory & Planning Assess inventory planning and forecasting to support customer demand and business objectives. Partner with Sales, Master Data and other departments to incorporate forecasts, seasonality, promotions, customer demand, and supply constraints into inventory planning. Monitor inventory levels, product rotation, fill rates, aging inventory, and product availability. Identify slow-moving, excess, and aging inventory and develop action plans with appropriate teams. Maintain inventory visibility and planning processes across the organization. Proactively identify potential inventory shortages and develop solutions to minimize customer impact. Vendor Management & Customer Fulfillment Establish, monitor, and evaluate supplier performance using established KPIs and scorecards. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, service, reliability, lead times, cost per kilogram, and other key metrics. Partner with Quality Assurance to monitor supplier food safety performance and perform corrective actions when needed. Monitor customer fulfillment performance, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF), fill rates, order accuracy, and service levels. Ensure compliance with customer and retailer requirements, including EDI, scorecards, routing requirements, promotions, and chargeback expectations. Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, logistical service providers, internal stakeholders, and other business partners. Financial Management Monitor the financial impact of supply chain and logistics activities on the P&L and EBITDA. Analyze freight economics, landed costs, gross margin drivers, inventory carrying costs, and other supply chain expenses. Mitigate the repercussion of inventory and purchasing decisions on working capital and cash flow. Support budgeting and forecasting related to logistics, inventory, warehousing, and other supply chain expenses. Provide operational trends and insights to the Sales team to support business decision-making.
