Director of Supply Chain

Position Title: Director of Supply Chain Department : Operations / Supply Chain Reports to : SVP, Operations Vantage MedTech Introduction Vantage MedTech (Vantage) is a full-service outsourced manufacturer of Class II and Class III electro-mechanical capital equipment for the medical device industry. Reporting Relationship The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading Vantage MedTech’s end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across procurement, supplier management, materials management, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping logistics. This leader will build scalable processes that strengthen customer service, support uninterrupted production, improve cost and working capital performance, and increase supplier reliability across the Kansas and New Jersey operations. Position Summary: The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading Vantage MedTech’s end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across procurement, supplier management, materials management, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping logistics. This role will develop scalable supply chain processes that support customer commitments, uninterrupted production, cost objectives, working capital performance, and supplier reliability across Kansas and New Jersey operations. This is an opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader to shape a critical function in a growing medical device company. The successful candidate will combine commercial judgment, disciplined execution, and people leadership to create a more proactive and resilient supply chain. The Director will have broad organizational exposure, direct influence on customer commitments and business performance, and the opportunity to build the team, systems, metrics, and operating rhythms needed for Vantage’s next stage of growth. Responsibilities: Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support Vantage’s operational priorities, customer commitments, growth objectives, cost targets, and working capital goals. Lead all purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, warehouse, inventory control, and shipping logistics activities across Kansas and New Jersey operations. Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, lead times, supply commitments, commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements to improve cost, cash flow, quality, delivery, and supply continuity. Develop domestic and global sourcing strategies for critical commodities, including electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies, fabricated metals, injection molded plastics, printed materials, packaging, and other direct materials. Evaluate global supply markets, supplier capacity, geopolitical risk, cost trends, lead-time risk, and alternative supply options to improve supply chain resiliency. Establish supplier segmentation, supplier scorecards, performance reviews, escalation processes, and business reviews with key suppliers.
