Director of Purchasing

Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 per year Oversee the operations of a full-service hospitality purchasing and design organization including budgeting, project management, vendor negotiations and brand relations. Essential Job Functions Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with company core values. Manage a team of 4-7 professionals. Organize project work flow and ensure timely completion for clients. Oversee all brand submittals and ensure work is being done up to designated brands specifications. Work closely with construction team and provide weekly project updates. Provide weekly reports to Senior Management on status of all work being performed. Position Requirements Ability to relocate to Harrisburg, PA Area within 6 months of start date. Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, Master’s preferred. 5 Years Relative Experience. Mastery of Excel is critical. Strong background in negotiating vendor contracts. Work Environment and Context Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard. Requires travel to hotel locations throughout the country. Requires travel to sites that are under construction.
