Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Production & Engineering to lead our Manufacturing and Engineering operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of production, engineering processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage all production activities, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. Oversee manufacturing processes utilizing production management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, and MRP to optimize workflows. Implement lean manufacturing principles and reduce waste. Develop and execute production schedules aligned with project timelines and resource availability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data through Excel data analysis tools and supply chain analytics. Manage shop operations, inventory control, quality assurance, and safety compliance. Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality control Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or scenic fabrication environment. Strong knowledge of SAP, and production management systems. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Experience leading teams with a focus on team leadership, cross-functional communication, and operational excellence. Background in shop management, Engineering, quality control, and assembly processes is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field.
