Based in Edmonton, this senior leadership position offers a competitive salary of $130,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, plus a variable pay component and additional performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities
As Director of Parts, you will provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to Parts Managers throughout the group. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing monthly parts reconciliation submissions, reviews, audits, and corrections
• Managing monthly obsolescence submissions, reviews, audits, and corrections
• Working closely with Parts Managers to improve profitability, productivity, and operational proficiency
• Establishing, monitoring, and improving departmental KPIs and target levels
• Supporting dealership budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning
• Managing and improving special-order parts processes and integration
• Developing strategies to increase the parts-to-labour ratio
• Coordinating twice-yearly physical inventory counts, including on-site preparation, support, and execution
• Growing the company’s wholesale parts business
• Ensuring compliance with national accounts and approved vendor programs
• Leading the onboarding and development of new Parts Managers
• Working with dealerships to maximize OEM co-op, loyalty, and incentive programs
• Improving inventory controls, stocking levels, turnover, and overall inventory health
• Co-hosting the annual Parts Manager Line Group meetings
• Travelling to dealerships throughout Alberta and British Columbia to provide hands-on leadership and support
What You Bring
• A minimum of five years of parts management experience within an automotive dealership environment
• Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations, inventory management, reconciliations, and obsolescence controls
• Proven experience improving profitability and departmental performance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand KPIs, financial results, and performance trends
• The ability to coach, mentor, and motivate Parts Managers and their teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with dealership leadership and corporate teams
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Alberta and British Columbia
• Experience with PBS and CDK is considered an asset
