At BRAVAS, we transform homes into extraordinary living experiences. As the nation's #1 luxury technology integrator, we design and deliver premium solutions - lighting, shades, A/V, networking, home automation, and more, that make life effortless, beautiful, and connected. We partner with homeowners, architects, builders, and designers on some of the most spectacular homes in the country. And we're growing. The Role The Director of Operations, Project Delivery sets the standard for how BRAVAS manages projects across all locations, from contract through procurement, scheduling, installation, programming, commissioning, and handoff to Service. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you'll build one scalable project management methodology in D-Tools, train Project Managers to execute it, and measure how well it works. This is a multi-site leadership role built on influence. Project teams report to their local General Managers, who are your peers and most important partners. You'll have real authority to set processes and tools, and you'll make them stick by building them with the GMs. You'll start by applying the playbook to our largest, most complex signature projects before rolling it out company-wide. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a standard project management methodology (processes, templates, quality checkpoints, documentation) in partnership with GMs, PMs, and Operations leadership. Partner with each GM on rollout plans, adapting to local realities without lowering the standard and resolving disagreements directly. Define project tiers (small to mega) with the right planning, controls, staffing, and reporting for each. Map the full project lifecycle with clear roles, milestones, and handoffs, and recommend PM assignment rules, especially for large projects outside a location's home market. Work directly on high-risk signature projects in your first months to stabilize schedule, budget, and communication and refine the playbook. Develop PM training programs and competency levels within the BRAVAS Core Skills Framework; advise GMs on PM hiring and development. Lead project health reviews, join site visits, and coach PMs through complex and at-risk projects. Strengthen the sales-to-execution handoff with Sales and Design so every project starts with clear scope, budget, and margin. Drive project financial discipline with Finance: budgets, labor forecasting, change orders, billing milestones, and cost to complete. Standardize closeout and the transition to Service. Make D-Tools the system of record, partnering with IT on configuration and NetSuite integration. Build PM performance reporting and KPIs (schedule adherence, margin and margin fade, change order capture, billing, punch-list closure, client satisfaction). Run lessons-learned reviews and build a cross-branch PM community of practice. Qualifications 10+ years of construction project management on high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects, including 5+ years as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or similar. Experience delivering trade scope as a subcontractor on large new construction or major renovation projects lasting a year or longer. Track record delivering projects of $1M+ with ownership of schedule, budget, and client relationships. Proven ability to design, document, and roll out standardized processes across multiple locations through influence rather than direct authority. 3+ years leading, coaching, and developing Project Managers, directly or through a PMO. Strong command of construction project controls and the ability to read drawings, specifications, and contracts. Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills, with the presence to lead tough conversations with general contractors, designers, and homeowners. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel 40–50%, including extended time on major projects in year one.
