Responsible for ensuring the company’s daily, weekly and fiscal operations meet the customers’ expectations and the company’s growth plan. Being a direct link and liaison to the company’s Controller’s needs, such as P&L analysis. Responsible for sourcing, hiring and training of drivers. Training includes, but is not limited to orientation of new drivers, safe driving practices, daily plant procedures, delivery procedures and month end procedures. Responsible for monthly training meetings that meets the requirements of the Department of Agriculture. Must pass and be certified in programs including, but not limited to the Certified Employee Training Program, bobtail delivery operations, and propane delivery operations and cylinder delivery. Responsible for maintaining proper certification of DOT cylinders, coordinating the Department of Agriculture visits and action plans and general insurance requirements and visits. Ultimately responsible for managing after-hours calls and emergency calls. Ultimately responsible for the timely execution of the company’s daily dispatch plan.
