Director of Operations – Electronics Processing & Warehousing

Unduit is a fast-growing IT Asset Lifecycle Management (ITAD) company. Our Lisle facility receives, tests, repairs, data-sanitizes, recycles and resells enterprise IT assets and mobile devices — and business is booming. New enterprise contracts mean more product, more value, and more compliance pressure coming through our doors, and we need an experienced operations leader to run the floor. What you'll do You'll own the entire physical operation — throughput, quality, safety, product security, chain of custody, and SOP discipline — while leading three Operations Managers who run daily shifts. This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role. Our management team is talented but still growing. You'll coach them into stronger leaders: setting clear standards, building accountability, running recognition programs that keep the floor engaged, and raising the hiring bar. You'll also be the person who makes the right call when something happens that no manual covers — an escalation, a missing high-value asset, a safety incident, or a peak week short on labor. Your day-to-day Direct warehousing and electronics processing: receiving, inventory control, audit, testing, refurbishment, data sanitization, recycling, packing, and shipping Lead, coach, and hold accountable 3 Operations Managers and the full production team — hiring, performance reviews, and coaching Own product security and chain of custody for high-value, data-bearing assets Own facility safety: OSHA compliance, training, audits, incident investigation Write and enforce SOPs; lead R2 and ISO 14001 audit readiness Track KPIs (throughput, cycle time, quality, inventory accuracy, safety, cost per unit) and drive root-cause fixes, not just reports Manage the facility operating budget What you bring 7+ years of operations, production, or warehouse leadership (manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, electronics processing, or ITAD) 3+ years managing supervisors or managers (not just front-line staff) Track record hiring, coaching, and — when needed — managing out employees, with solid documentation Experience writing/enforcing SOPs in a regulated or audited environment Working knowledge of OSHA and ownership of a safety program Inventory control and cycle counting experience Associate's degree or equivalent experience; comfortable in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and WMS/ERP systems Able to work on-site in Lisle, IL, flex hours during peak periods, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Must pass a background check and drug screen Nice to have Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Engineering ITAD, electronics recycling, mobile buyback/repair, or reverse logistics experience R2, R2v3, e-Stewards, or ISO 14001/9001/27001 certification experience Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma certification; P&L ownership; bilingual English/Spanish a plus Why Unduit Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) plan Discretionary performance bonus eligibility Paid support toward relevant certifications Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have in operations, production, or warehouse leadership (manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, electronics processing, or ITAD)?
