A large organization with complex, multi-site operations is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operational readiness and execution. This role is responsible for ensuring that facilities, vehicles, systems, documentation, and operational processes run smoothly, compliantly, and at a high standard. The Director of Operations will partner closely with senior leadership and serve as the central point of accountability for operational performance.
Oversee daily operational readiness across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and professional execution
Maintain operational SOPs, checklists, and workflows to support compliance and continuity
Oversee vehicle and equipment readiness, including maintenance coordination, inspections, vendor management, and records
Manage facilities operations, including maintenance, vendor coordination, and execution of capital projects
Ensure operational compliance with applicable regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies
Maintain centralized operational records and documentation, including permits, inspections, and access credentials
Ensure reliability of communications and operational systems, with appropriate redundancy and escalation procedures
Oversee procurement, inventory controls, and restocking of operational supplies and equipment
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational tasks are completed on time and within budget
Serve as an escalation point for operational issues and after-hours situations as needed
Proven operations leadership experience in a complex, regulated, or multi-location environment
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong process management and follow-through
Strong vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to own outcomes while delegating execution
Calm, practical, and effective in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
