Overview Vineyard Vines is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to play a key role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and operational decision-making across the organization. As a key Finance business partner, this position will work closely with cross-functional leadership to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiencies. The Director will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across multiple business functions, including Supply Chain (Freight, Fulfillment and Logistics), Technology, Legal, Production and other corporate functions. This role will support the monthly financial close and forecasting process, annual budget development, and long-range strategic planning. The position will also be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing financial insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership and collaborate across all areas of the business in a fast-paced growing retail environment. The position will also be responsible for managing and developing a Senior Financial Analyst. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning for assigned business functions. Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models, including P&L forecasts, expense projections, and scenario analyses. Monitor financial performance against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year, identifying key variances, risks, and opportunities. Partner with Accounting during the monthly close process to ensure accurate financial results, appropriate expense recognition, and timely variance analysis. Prepare financial reporting and presentations for senior leadership, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations. Business Partnership & Operational Finance Serve as a strategic Finance partner to cross-functional leaders, supporting financial performance, resource allocation, and business decisions.
