Director of Business Development – Freight Forwarding Atlanta, GA | On-site | Full-time $160,000 per year The opportunity Can you win a shipper’s first booking and earn a larger share of their freight over time? We’re recruiting a Director of Business Development in Atlanta to do both across air and ocean freight. The salary is $160,000. What you’ll do Identify shippers with international freight needs and develop new business from the first conversation through to the first shipment. Stay close to existing customers. Understand which lanes they use, where service is falling short and what it would take to win more of their air or ocean freight. What you’ll bring Experience selling freight forwarding services, with examples of both opening new accounts and growing business with existing shippers.
