The Director of Beauty owns the end-to-end strategic vision for Beauty brands partnering with Pattern. setting the direction for planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy that the wider Beauty organization executes against. This is a full time role that works a hybrid schedule (60% in office each week) based in Lehi, Utah. What is a day in the life of a Director of Ecommerce? Set the strategic direction for end-to-end planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization across high-profile beauty brands, overseeing Associate Directors and Managers who execute against it Own category intake strategy at a portfolio level — OTB, ordering, and excess management — ensuring optimum inventory health and in-stock performance while controlling capital usage across the business Translate forecast deviations and their future implications into decisive action, setting the mitigation approach the wider team builds plans around Shape segmented assortment strategy using quantitative market analysis, informing how the business prioritizes categories and partners Own brand partner relationships at the executive level, leading high-stakes discussions on Buy Strategy, Sell In/Sell Out forecasts, and Supply Chain optimization, and serving as the ultimate point of escalation Set the trading lever strategy (swap and return negotiations, EOL MD management, promotional planning) that the team executes to hit revenue and margin targets Own annual, quarterly, and weekly budget setting in partnership with Finance and Brand Growth leadership Lead the onboarding strategy for new partners, ensuring data-led forecasting and buying strategies set brands up for long-term success Drive operational excellence at scale — sponsoring innovation projects and team initiatives that improve inve…
