Director, Manufacturing Supply Chain

The Director, Manufacturing Supply Chain will lead inventory planning, purchasing, supplier management, and production planning across a network of brands, manufacturing campuses, and interconnected sites. This leader will direct both the people and the processes for these functions. They will define, deploy, and enforce a standardized, multi-brand supply chain operating model that connects site-level execution to enterprise strategy, so that every campus operates to common planning standards, shared supplier strategies, and a single network view of demand, capacity, and inventory. The role combines two priorities: delivering excellence in execution of today's supply chain processes across the MSO manufacturing and supply network, and leading the transformation to standardized, simplified, and more efficient ways of working Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Talent Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of planners, buyers, production schedulers, and inventory control professionals supporting multiple brands. Define the organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities needed to run a standardized multi-brand planning model. Set clear performance expectations, coach and develop leaders, and build succession for critical roles. Foster a culture of accountability, standard work, collaboration, and data-driven decision making. Standardized Multi-Brand Planning and Inventory Management Design, deploy, and sustain a standardized planning and inventory management solution across brands and manufacturing locations. Establish common planning policies, including planning parameters, lot sizing, safety stock methodology, and inventory segmentation. Harmonize master data standards (items, BOMs, routings, lead times, vendors) to enable consistent planning output and reporting. Partner with IT and ERP owners to align system configuration with standardized processes. Inventory Planning Own inventory planning for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods. Lead the supply side of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and run the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) cadence. Balance service levels, inventory investment, and working capital against clear inventory targets. Manage excess, obsolete, and shelf-life inventory risk, and drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting and root cause analysis. Purchasing Lead direct materials purchasing, including order placement, expediting, and delivery performance. Establish standardized purchasing processes and approval controls across brands. Partner with Strategic Sourcing on contracts, pricing, and lead-time commitments, and own tactical execution. Supplier Relationship Management Build and lead a supplier relationship management program, segmenting suppliers by spend, criticality, and risk. Run structured business reviews with key suppliers covering performance, capacity, cost, quality, and improvement plans. Drive collaborative planning with strategic suppliers, including forecast sharing, capacity reservations, and consignment or vendor-managed inventory where appropriate. Partner with Quality on supplier corrective actions and supplier development programs for underperforming suppliers. Resolve supply disruptions quickly through strong supplier relationships and clear escalation paths. Supplier Performance Metrics Define and deploy a standardized supplier scorecard used consistently across all brands and sites. Measure and report supplier on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery, lead-time adherence and lead-time trends, quality performance (defect rates and corrective actions), purchase price variance, and responsiveness. Use scorecard results to drive supplier reviews, improvement plans, and sourcing decisions. Provide leadership with clear visibility into supplier performance trends and supply risk.
