Director, Fleet Solutions
LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a Director, Fleet Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space. This role will help shape commercial strategy for fleet customers, with a focus on truck purchasing decisions, lifecycle economics, and pilot program design. You will partner closely with sales, product, and finance teams to build compelling value propositions and scalable frameworks that support customer adoption. The position requires strong executive presence, quantitative analysis, and the ability to translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear business outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $212,000 – $260,000 annually Responsibilities Establish subject-matter expertise in truck purchasing and selling by engaging with customers on fleet purchase decisions Develop and present customer-specific value propositions to executives at carriers and shippers Analyze total cost of ownership at a granular level, including lifecycle costs and operational impacts of autonomy Gain insights into customers' supply chains and propose tailored operational solutions Collaborate with Commercial sales to conduct demos and manage customer engagement sessions Design the commercial framework for pilot programs in collaboration with sales, product, and finance teams Utilize AI tools to create and enhance analysis pipelines and deliverables in a collaborative codebase Create scalable frameworks for customer analysis to improve efficiency and speed in engagements Qualifications 10+ years of experience in trucking or logistics, particularly in fleet operations or OEM sales engineering Direct experience with the Class 8 equipment lifecycle, including buying, selling, or leasing Proven ability to create and present quantitative value propositions to senior executives Advanced quantitative modeling skills for use in coding environments Experience with autonomous vehicles or fleet technology preferred Strong executive presence, storytelling abilities, and presentation skills Demonstrated integrity and sound judgment under commercial pressure, with the ability to balance timelines and technical feasibility Ability to navigate ambiguity in early-stage commercial environments Benefits Competitive compensation and equity awards Comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, and vision Unlimited vacation policy to promote work-life balance Flexible working hours and remote work options Daily provision of drinks, snacks, and meals when working in the office Regular team-building activities and social events, both in-office and virtually A growing list of perks as the organization evolves Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
