Director, Capital Projects Procurement Location Iowa, United States Industry Large-Scale Industrial Manufacturing About the Role We are seeking an experienced procurement leader to oversee sourcing, contracting, and procurement execution for a major capital investment program. This role will lead procurement activities for complex equipment packages, engineering services, construction contracts, and strategic supplier relationships while supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial project. Qualifications 20+ years of procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, or commercial management experience. Significant experience supporting large capital projects in industrial manufacturing, metals, mining, energy, infrastructure, processing, or related sectors. Demonstrated success managing procurement for major equipment, EPC, construction, and services contracts. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration experience. Experience working with international suppliers and complex project supply chains. Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred Experience Greenfield or brownfield capital project experience. Large industrial manufacturing or process-industry background. Experience supporting projects with significant capital investment. Familiarity with EPC project delivery and contractor management.
