Shelter Care, Inc.Direct Care Staff/Youth Transport Specialist Location: Stow, OH 44224 Position Overview Shelter Care is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to assist with the transportation and supervision of our youth served in our programs. This role involves safely transporting youth ages 11–17 to and from school while maintaining a supportive, respectful, and youth-centered environment. Position pays $18 per hour. Schedule School Days: 6 am - 2 pm, Non School Days: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Schedule cannot be changed and staff must be reliable to transport youth to school on time. Responsibilities Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in company vehicle while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with program staff regarding transportation schedules and any concerns. Adhere to all Shelter Care policies and procedures during transportation duties. Provide supervision to youth who are home from school. Qualifications Minimum of 21 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and free of accidents. This is non-negotiable. Must maintain full compliance with criminal background check requirements. Ability to work part-time with split shift availability.
