Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic

Job Description We are looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Fresno, CA. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience with semi-trucks and trailers who can diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs efficiently, and work independently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair semi-trucks and trailers. Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, and regular servicing. Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, air systems, and electrical components. Perform tire repairs, replacements, and inspections. Diagnose diesel engine and transmission issues. Perform trailer repairs, including lights, wiring, doors, and other components. Identify safety issues and perform necessary repairs. Perform welding and fabrication when needed. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently. Knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension. Welding experience is a plus. Must be reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. Own tools preferred. Diesel mechanic certifications are a plus but not required. Compensation Starting pay: $25/hour.
