This role is essential to keeping our fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and field service equipment running at peak performance. If you’re looking for a workplace where your skills are valued and your career can grow, Basin is the place for you.
What You’ll Do
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections to keep equipment safe and reliable.
• Work with diagnostic computers and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure smooth operations.
• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while caring for shop tools and equipment.
• Stay current with certifications and product training.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in diesel engine repair, maintenance, and electrical systems.
• A dealer level tech could possibly move into a lead role as well for the right person.
• Pay is DOE.
• Technical certification or degree (preferred but not required).
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills with the ability to problem-solve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no major violations in the past 5 years).
• Must pass drug, alcohol, and background screenings.
• Personal set of general tools.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Must live in local or surrounding area

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
