Diesel/Trailer Mechanic

Overview of position: Full-time truck and trailer mechanic. Job duties include but not limited to: Diagnosing and repair of all truck and trailer mechanical, air and electrical systems. Tire changes and repairs, roof patches, floor patches, roll door and swing door repair, DOT annual inspections, PM’s, some repairs to forklifts and pallet jacks, complete required paperwork for equipment files. Requirements: · Valid CDL Class B · Minimum two years of CMV maintenance experience · Valid medical card · EPA 609 Certification · Previous A/C repair experience · Eligible for employment in the U.S. · Able to read, write & speak English · Clean driving record · Ability to push, pull or lift 100 pounds · Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment · Tools sufficient to perform required repairs · Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised Benefits: · Pay rate starting at $58,000 annually · Weekly pay · Average of 45 hours per week · Paid time off, paid holidays and vacation pay after 1 year of employment · Medical, dental, vision insurance · AD&D, Short-term disability, Long-term disability and company-paid life insurance For more information, please email jobs@acimotorfreight.com.
