Diesel Technician (Medium-Duty Isuzu Trucks)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty Isuzu trucks while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Isuzu medium-duty diesel trucks. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Utilize diagnostic software and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines. Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet all safety requirements. Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Accurately document inspections, repairs, parts usage, and labor times. Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status updates with service advisors and management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Stay current on Isuzu technical training, service bulletins, and industry best practices. Assist fellow technicians as needed to ensure shop productivity and customer satisfaction.
