What your day looks like: Roll to customer sites and diagnose medium- and heavy-duty fleet vehicles where they work. Handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and Department of Transportation inspections to a professional standard. Turn “the truck is down” into a clear explanation of what happened, what matters now, and what comes next. Build work orders that tell the full story, including notes, labor, photos, recommendations, and parts used. Keep your rolling shop clean, safe, organized, and stocked for the work ahead. Make independent calls in changing field conditions while staying connected to dispatch, parts, and the technician team. Leave every customer thinking, “That is who we want back next time.” FLEET ADVISOR | MOBILE TECHNICIAN Fleet Advisor Built by technicians, for technicians What makes you road-ready: At least five years of diesel, medium-duty, heavy-duty, or closely related repair experience. You diagnose before you guess and can solve problems without a shop around you. You communicate clearly with customers—even when the answer is not simple. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets company requirements. You are comfortable using a mobile app to document work, parts, photos, and recommendations. A high school diploma or equivalent. When the customer says, “It was fine yesterday,” you know where to start. Great mobile technicians bring technical skill, ownership, organization, and the ability to build trust fast. They know when to run with the job and when to call in another experienced brain.
