Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance and safety of our fleet and equipment, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignment, shocks & struts replacement, and equipment inspections to ensure safety and reliability Repair and fabricate parts as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific project requirements Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair procedures Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on farm machinery, industrial equipment, heavy trucks, and vehicle systems with precision and attention to detail Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and document repairs accurately for compliance and future reference Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and recommendations Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with dealership experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, suspension components, and electrical systems Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex vehicle systems Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance instruments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large machinery or vehicles Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs Join our team to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills daily!
