Diesel Technician/Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our service team. What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment Perform routine maintenance and preventative service Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel-system problems Perform engine, transmission, hydraulic, and drivetrain repairs Diagnose equipment using service manuals, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer resources Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Communicate with the Service Manager regarding equipment condition, repairs, and parts needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Document repairs and labor accurately Provide professional service to our customers and take pride in representing Stutzman Power Equipment Equipment You May Work On Our technicians work on a wide variety of equipment, including: Kubota agricultural tractors Kubota construction equipment Skid steers and compact track loaders RTVs and utility vehicles Compact and sub-compact equipment Diesel engines and related equipment Other agricultural, construction, and outdoor power equipment What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a diesel, agricultural, construction, or equipment technician preferred Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine the proper repair Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read and understand service manuals and schematics Ability to work independently while also being a team player Good communication and organizational skills Dependable work ethic and strong attention to detail Valid driver's license Ability to lift, move, and work around equipment and parts Kubota experience is a plus, but not required. Manufacturer training and ongoing technical training are available for the right candidate.
