Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Utah Diesel Center is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic who knows their way around Duramax, Cummins, Powerstroke, and heavy‑duty systems. If you can diagnose accurately, rebuild engines, and handle major repairs without hand‑holding, you’ll fit right in. We are not hiring entry‑level techs. Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines and drivetrains Diagnose, repair transmissions and components Repair and rebuild diesel engines and major components Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify faults accurately Inspect vehicles including air brakes, suspension, and DOT‑related systems Complete DOT inspections (preferred, not required) Perform welding and fabrication when needed Handle heavy lifting and equipment movement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Document repairs clearly and professionally Requirements (Non‑Negotiable) Minimum 5 years diesel mechanic experience Must have your own tools Strong diagnostic skills — mechanical & electrical Proven ability to rebuild diesel engines Experience with heavy‑duty trucks or industrial equipment Able to work independently and stay productive Valid driver’s license DOT inspection experience preferred Ability to identify issues quickly and communicate clearly Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
