Diesel Technician/Mechanic

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy trucks, diesel engines, and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety of our fleet and machinery. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure reliability and safety. Diagnose and repair diesel engines in various vehicles and equipment. Conduct heavy truck repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission work, and brake systems. Maintain and repair a variety of mechanical systems across different machinery. Utilize welding skills for repairs and fabrication as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during all repair activities. Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic with knowledge of diesel engine repair. Strong background in vehicle maintenance, heavy truck repair, and mechanical systems repair. Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on repairs. Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel mechanics or automotive technology are preferred.
