This is a mid-level technician position for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Diesel Technician III, you will: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment Perform preventive maintenance and inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and air systems. Work on brakes, wheel ends, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems. Diagnose and repair transmissions, clutches, and differentials. Perform AC diagnostics and repairs. Diagnose starting and charging systems. Perform upper and lower engine repairs. Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Communicate effectively with the Service Manager, Service Writer, and customers regarding repairs and jobs in progress. Help coach and support other technicians as needed. Work efficiently while maintaining FleetPride's safety and quality standards. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 3+ years of diesel/heavy-duty truck experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with semi-trucks preferred. Proficiency with: Air systems. Electrical diagnosis and schematics. Starting and charging systems. Brakes and wheel ends. Coolant systems. AC diagnostics and repairs. Steering and alignment. Drivetrain systems. Transmissions and clutches. Differentials. After treatment systems. Upper and lower engine repairs. Willingness to coach and support other technicians. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to provide your own tools and tool box. Valid driver's license.
