Durango St. Phoenix, AZ 85009 602-278-9192 Attn: Mike Jimenez We are looking for a dependable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. If you take pride in keeping trucks safe, reliable, and on the road, we'd love to hear from you. Shop hours of operations are Monday - Friday 07:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues using computer diagnostics and visual inspections. Troubleshoot and repair brake systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems. Repair or replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, filters, belts, ac components and hoses using hand and power tools. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication. Ensure trucks meet all safety and emissions compliance requirements. Test-drive trucks or operate equipment to verify repairs have been completed successfully. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Order parts and manage inventory as needed. Keep accurate maintenance and repair records for all company vehicles. Coordinate with outside repair facilities for major engine and transmission rebuilds, as those repairs are outsourced. Perferred you have your own tools. Qualifications Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty truck technician preferred. Ability to diagnose and repair commercial diesel vehicles. Familiarity with computer diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment. Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus but not required. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
