Since 1969, Goodman Bus Service has been a leader in the private transportation industry for the Houston area and its surrounding communities. We provide services to private schools, churches, and school districts in and around the Houston area. We are searching for a Diesel Technician to perform maintenance and repair school buses in a safe and professional manner. Primary Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Troubleshoot mechanical problems using visual inspections, meters, gauges, scanners, and advanced tools Broad knowledge of diesel engine repair Experience removing and replacing transmissions Experience troubleshooting electrical systems Experience using service apps like Allison, Cummins, Navistar-ServiceMaxx, Navistar-NED, Navistar-DLB, Bendix, International OnCommand Experience in A/C repair and Master Cool recovery systems Requirements Valid drivers’ license Pass a criminal background check Pass drug test Certificate or diploma from a trade/technical school preferred.
