Core Duties Execute comprehensive diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for diesel engines and their associated components. Carry out essential maintenance tasks and mechanical repairs, such as engine overhauls, brake services, and oil changes. Help ensure fleet safety and peak performance by conducting thorough vehicle inspections that meet all industry regulations. Keep precise and organized documentation regarding all service and repair activities. Work alongside colleagues to boost shop productivity and solve complex mechanical challenges. Keep pace with emerging diesel technologies and modern repair methodologies. Deliver high-quality service by clearly explaining repair and maintenance requirements to our clients. Required Skills and Experience Completion of high school or a GED; a technical credential in diesel mechanics is highly desirable. Demonstrated history of success working as a Diesel Technician or in a comparable capacity. Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, fuel systems, and diesel engine mechanics. Proficiency in the operation of modern diagnostic hardware and specialized shop equipment. Utilize your sharp analytical skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently. Strong interpersonal abilities that allow you to contribute effectively to a collaborative team. Possession of a current driver's license along with a safe driving history.
