Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Larry Williams Trucking, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks / Semi Tractor CMV, such as oil changes, tire maintenance, and small repairs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our commitment to quality service. Shop schedule is 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday through Monday. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and small repairs on Class 8 diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Collaborate with the dispatch team to minimize downtime of vehicles. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role; Heavy Equipment Mechanic is preferred. Tools and Tool Box Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics. Familiarity with electrical systems and equipment repair. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Physical Demands Lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, climbing and balancing. Carrying of objects weighing up to 50lbs. Standing for long periods of time. Exposure to various weather elements.
