Maintains diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. Maintains diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. Maintenance includes but not limited to: PM/oil service, brakes, transmission, electrical, clutch, and welding. **WELDER** Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate metal products from drawings and specifications. Weld metal parts together using welding methods such as MIG or TIG. Cut parts using saws, grinders, and other tools. Test finished products to ensure that the parts meet specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure that the product meets company quality standards. Document any defects found and take appropriate action to resolve them. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills and Qualifications ·Knowledge of welding techniques and procedures, including the use of electrical power tools such as grinders, saws, drills, etc. ·Knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures, including the use of overhead power tools such as wire strippers, volt testers, etc. ·Knowledge of building codes and how they apply to projects. ·Knowledge of assembly techniques such as gluing or bonding materials together to form larger components or pieces. ·Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with measuring instruments such as tape measure, calipers, etc. ·Ability to follow written instructions accurately and complete complex tasks without errors. Requirement & Experience: * Minimum 2 years working in the semi-truck field. Kenworth and CAT a plus! * Ability to perform diagnostic and repairs on heavy equipment. * Adhere to safety regulations * Able to lift 50 lbs. * Able to work while standing, sitting, crouching, or kneeling for extended periods of time. * CDL A license a plus!
