Diesel Mechanic - Urgent Hiring
Boulder ConnectRole: Heavy-duty diesel truck and equipment technician responsible for safe operation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance of company-owned or leased vehicles and rolling stock. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs on diesel refuse trucks, including hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, and PTO systems. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability, keeping fleet operational. Qualifications & Skills: Experience with diesel trucks and repair procedures; proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; ASE certification preferred with pay increases for certifications; ability to perform detailed inspections and repairs. Compensation & Benefits: Starting pay $30-$35/hr, with higher pay based on experience, certifications, and skill level. Benefits include PTO, quarterly tool allowance, boot reimbursement, overtime, health benefits, and 401K. Training on first shift provided initially, with opportunities for certifications and pay bumps.
