Our technicians focus on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, air systems, and truck and trailer repairs that keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently every day. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems Complete truck and trailer inspections Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment Why Join KAG? $21-36 per hour in Sidney Guaranteed pay increases based on training completion and verified experience Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and holidays, 401(k) with company match $100 annual boot allowance, paid in quarterly installments $250 Semi-Annual Tool Allowance after one year of service (up to $500 Annually) Extensive paid technician training Clear advancement path from entry-level maintenance to advanced diagnostics and inspection certifications Modern equipment and technology Stable, year-round work Pay Range: 21.00-36.00 per_hour, General Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, a 401K with company match, life insurance, short and long term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity insurance. Requirements 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs Valid Driver's License Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
