Diesel Mechanic Technician

Our shop services top-tier lines including Bobcat, Toro, Diamond Mowers, Kohler engines, Kawasaki engines, and Midsota Trailers. In addition, we maintain and service our sister company's fleet of cranes, semis, and millwright service trucks. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our shop team in Windom, MN. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of hands-on mechanical tasks—from routine maintenance and warranty work to complex diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Perform routine service, preventative maintenance, and warranty repairs on heavy machinery, compact equipment, small engines, and fleet vehicles. Conduct mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics to accurately troubleshoot issues. Inspect, repair, and overhaul mechanical components across diverse brand lines (Bobcat, Toro, Kohler, Kawasaki, Midsota, etc.). Maintain and repair fleet assets, including cranes, semis, and millwright crew trucks. Transport equipment to/from customer locations or job sites on a case-by-case basis. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Proven experience in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment, or fleet automotive diagnostics. Licensing: Valid Driver’s License required (CDL or willingness to obtain is a plus for equipment hauling). Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Skills: Strong working knowledge of hand tools, diagnostics, electrical systems, and machinery assembly.
