About the Mobile Mechanic/Technician Role As a Mobile Mechanic/Technician, you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles, including emergency roadside service when needed. Geared up with top-tier specialty tools, and a supportive team that values your skill, drive and dedication , you’ll tackle new challenges every day and take pride in delivering safe, reliable and efficient service that keeps America moving. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00PM - 3:00AM Where You’ll Make an Impact Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs to light and medium duty vehicles in a mobile field environment . Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency. Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems - everything that keeps a fleet running strong. Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast . Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right. Road test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top-quality standards. Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times . Work with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving. Take ownership of a c ompany-issued service truck , perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring safety compliance. Jump in wherever needed – we're a team that supports each other . What Makes You a Great Fit At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience working on light to medium duty vehicles.
