To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment.
Independently
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.). Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards. Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Backup to other maintenance shop personnel. Must have 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic. Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
Must furnish own personal hand tools. to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, and enter information on reports if needed); High school diploma or equivalent required.

Class-A CDL license and DOT certification PREFERRED Experience using fleet maintenance software PREFERRED Welding ability PREFERRED Onsite : The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility. DRIVE Occasionally (Test drives equipment) TO LIFT: 1. 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Continuously 2. 10-20 lbs (Light) Frequently 3. 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally 4. 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Occasionally 5. Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) May lift up to 120-150 pounds (2 man lift) TO CARRY: 1. 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Frequently 2. 10-20 lbs (Light) Frequently 3. 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally 4. 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Occasionally 5. 1 (Push/Pull: Hand truck, gate, straps, metal ramp, truck door, dolly, boxes, truck gear shift) In/Out Truck/Trailer to cab.
