Diesel Mechanic – Independent Contractor | Evenings & Weekends
Superior Seal & Paving, Inc.We're looking for an experienced diesel mechanic (1099 independent contractor) to provide part-time, as-needed repair and maintenance services for our fleet of dump trucks and paving equipment (pavers, skid steers). Flexible hours, mostly evening and weekend work. Ideal candidate: Experience diagnosing and repairing medium/heavy-duty diesel trucks, particularly Freightliner dump trucks. Comfortable troubleshooting engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Construction equipment experience is a plus. Available evenings, weekends, or for occasional emergency repairs. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible scheduling. Competitive hourly contract rates depending on experience and availability. Ideal for an experienced diesel technician or independent mechanic looking for additional work.
