Job description:
Your mission
Participate in large-scale projects by ensuring the mechanical maintenance of mobile generators and their essential equipment. On site, you will ensure the performance and reliability of critical installations. You will work on various systems and contribute to uptime through your expertise.
Your daily activities
• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and their auxiliaries (return inspection, preventive inspection, limited inspection, complete inspection, overhauls) and other projects such as modifications to equipment.
• Perform corrective maintenance on diesel engines and all their auxiliaries.
• Carry out commissioning tests and participate in the start-up of diesel engines.
• Make modifications to diesel engines and their auxiliaries, such as repositioning an emergency stop button and lockout/tagout.
• Verify the lifting devices' compliance, perform maintenance and carry out or have repairs performed.
• Maintain compressed air systems.
• Provide activity reports by writing, recording or verifying various reports.
• Apply environmental management system standards in daily operations.
• Respect and apply current work methods and safety rules.

Your profile
Requirements:
• Hold a DEP diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or construction equipment mechanics.
Position-related skills and knowledge:
• Master techniques to verify, repair, test, modify, troubleshoot, assemble, install and commission all mechanical equipment.
• Meet physical requirements related to the tasks to be performed.
• Able to work at heights, in wet environments and in confined spaces.
• Proficient in French for this role.

Inherent particularities

• Valid Quebec Class 5 driver's license.
• 38.5 hours per week: 7:00 to 17:22. Lunch break 12:00 to 12:45.
