We are a growing civil construction company looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections. Repair and maintain diesel trucks, vehicles, and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Perform suspension, alignment, and other necessary repairs. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Work with the team to minimize equipment downtime. Qualifications Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician required. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic tools. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently. Experience with heavy equipment or construction vehicles preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
