Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

Diesel Mechanic needed to maintain and repair a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment used for essential environmental services. Responsibilities Include Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance to support safe, reliable equipment operation. Follow DOT and company safety/operational standards. Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities in required systems. Maintain equipment readiness in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, brake, and electrical components. Commitment to safety and adherence to DOT/company procedures. Ability to complete preventive maintenance and accurate job documentation.
