Diesel Mechanic Fleet Technician
Jory L Bernard, LLCAbout the Role: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to handle preventative maintenance and routine servicing for our fleet. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment. A primary focus of this role will be performing routine fluid services, tracking machine health, and keeping our operation running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Perform full preventive maintenance and oil changes on 18-wheelers (semi-trucks) and forklifts . Inspect, grease, and service chassis, steering, suspension, and hydraulic components. Replace oil, fuel, and air filters accurately across different equipment types. Identify and report any potential mechanical, hydraulic, or safety issues during routine inspections. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop workspace. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience with diesel engines and fleet maintenance. Strong working knowledge of heavy truck and industrial forklift systems. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around a shop environment. A valid driver's license (CDL is a strong plus but not required). Reliable, detail-oriented, and focused on safety. Must keep good records & be able to document all work completed.
