Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our repair shop team. In this role, you will use advanced computer diagnostic tools and hands-on expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy and light-duty diesel trucks, equipment and machinery. This is a fast-paced position for a problem-solver who takes pride in delivering top-quality mechanical work and keeping our customers safely back on the road. Duties Provide routine maintenance such as change oil, replace filters, rotate tires, and monitor fluid levels. Use computer diagnostic and scan tools to find engine, electrical, or emissions issues. Repair or replace broken components or systems. Test-drive vehicles or run machinery to make sure repairs work correctly. Collaborate effectively with shop staff and customers to ensure high-quality repairs and clear communication. Demonstrate time management, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience Diesel mechanic experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated candidate who possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and a great work ethic. Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance and servicing. Familiarity with fabrication techniques including welding and metalworking for custom repairs or modifications. Knowledge of equipment operation along with the ability to perform adjustments, repairs, and services. Compensation Salary is competitive and scaled based on your expertise, skills and background.
