Diesel Mechanic

Overview Keep essential equipment moving as a Diesel Mechanic. You’ll inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel vehicles . Apply your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to diagnose issues and complete dependable repairs. Duties Perform diesel engine diagnostics and repair, vehicle maintenance, and equipment maintenance using hand tools and power tools. Troubleshoot and repair transmissions, air brakes, suspension, alignment, hydraulics, HVAC, and electrical systems; use schematics for electrical diagnostics. Service and repair diesel vehicles & support equipment operation, assembly, tire service, and heavy lifting as needed. Your impact: Accurate diagnostics and timely repairs help customers and equipment operators return to safe, reliable work. Experience Mechanic or service technician experience, including diesel mechanics. Practical experience with diesel engine diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, brake repair, electrical systems, and equipment troubleshooting. Demonstrated electrical experience, customer service skills, and the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
