Diesel Mechanic - Commercial Fleet

Apply on our website under Apply Now!: https://facilityservicesunlimited.com/ Facility Services Unlimited (FSU) is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, pressure washing equipment, generators, and other commercial equipment. This is a full-time position based out of our Schertz, Texas shop. The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and completing repairs to keep our crews operating safely and efficiently. While this position is primarily shop-based, travel to job sites throughout Texas may be required as needed to perform field repairs or support projects. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, can troubleshoot problems efficiently, and enjoys working as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid services on trucks, trailers, and company equipment. Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and engine systems. Maintain repair records and communicate equipment needs. Ensure equipment is safe and ready for daily operations. Travel to job sites as needed to perform field repairs or equipment support. Follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license required. Experience working on diesel engines, trailers, or commercial equipment preferred. Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical work. Authorized to work in the United States. What We Offer $18–$25 per hour Typical schedule of 38–40 hours per week, with overtime available based on workload. Paid travel time when traveling to job sites.
